Sadom carries 2-shot lead into final round in Phuket

Looking for a second consecutive win in Phuket, in-form Sadom
Kaewkanjana carded a third–round 67 for a 9-under at Singha Laguna
Phuket Open 2021.
Narathiwat-born Sadom, who has two wins on All Thailand Golf Tour under
his belt, made four birdies against alone bogey at par-71 Laguna Golf
Phuket on Saturday. With a three-round of 9-under, Sadom has led by two
shots over Tirawat Kaewsiribandit (68) and Nirun Sae-Ueng (68).

Sadom, whose last ATGT win came at  Thongchai Jaidee Foundation 2019,
landed his maiden title on ThaiPGA tour, also in Phuket, last week.
The 23-year-old said that taking course condition into consideration, he
became satisfied with his performance.
“The weather is not that bad today. It is much easier to play, compared
to the previous two rounds,”  Sadom said.
“For the final round, I need to keep a ball in fairway as much as I
could. If the wind comes, you are going into trouble here. I must
concentrate on my own game.”
Poosit Supupramai fired  a 67  to share fourth with Ratchanon
Chantananuwat ,m who dropped a shot at the last hole en route for his
“Everyone still has a chance to win the title. It is not too far behind
the leader,” said Poosit, whose round included five birdies and two

At Singha All Thailand Championship late last month, the 14-year-old
Ratchanon entered the final round with a two-shot advantage before
making a final 75 for a joint 5th finish.
“I am a bit nervous playing the final round. I have learned from that,”
said Ratchanon, who was a low amateur at Laguna Phuket Golf last year.
“When I make a mistake, I could not control myself and could not stick
to my routine. My dad (his caddie) and I have learned a lot from that.”
Piya Sawangarunporn posted a third-round 65 to stay tied for 6th at
5-under with Witchayapat Sinsrang (69).
Thitipat Lem (68) was a stroke back.
Two-time ATGT winner Settee Prakongvech, who is leading on the money
list,  mixed five birdies with four bogeys on his way to a 1-under- 69.
He he shared 9th with Denwit David Boriboonsub (70).
Chanachok Dejpiratanamongkol, who won here in 2018, shot a 2-over 72
with two bogeys. He was joined at 2-under by the likes of Jaturon
Amaranan (70), Charng-Tai Sudsom (69), Wolmer Murillo (73)and Sarit
Suwannarut (68).
Peradol Panyathanasedh (68) on even-parThitipan Pachuayprakong (69) and Rattanon Wannasrichan (70) were in a
group of ten players on 1-over.

Defending champion Pawin Ingkhapradit shot a 71 to stay tied for 37th on
. on 2-over.

The winner of the 5th edition of the 3-million baht Singha Laguna Phuket
Open will receive 450,000 baht and five world ranking points.
The final round will be live streaming through or at 10 am.
