Laguna Golf Phuket has recently announced an exciting addition to its leadership team with the appointment of Jhomer lito Q. Patalot Jr. as the new Director of Agronomy. This strategic move aims to enhance the course’s agronomy and management practices, setting the stage for elevating the overall condition of the course to a premium standard.
Jhomer lito, affectionately known as Jhomar, brings an impressive 25 years of experience in golf course management and maintenance throughout Asia. His journey began in the Philippines, where he quickly climbed the ranks to become Golf Course Superintendent at Manila Golf and Country Club. His international expertise expanded in Brunei and Thailand, where he led agronomy teams at several prestigious venues, including Ayodhya Links and Amata Spring Country Club.
Jhomer holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Agriculture with a specialisation in agronomy. His commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability in course conditioning is evident. With a blend of deep technical knowledge and a passion for exceptional playing surfaces, he is well-equipped to lead the team at Laguna Golf Phuket.
